    Hi everyone! My name is Alexis and I'm from Southern, CA. I'm really looking forward to being able to meet people from all around the world. This world is so small yet so large and I would love to be able to talk to people without letting language or location be a barrier. I'd love to learn about who you are as an individual, how the country/state/city and culture you grew up in has influenced you, and maybe even learn/teach a few more languages along the way 🙂.

    Hola, me llamo Alexis y soy de los estados unidos. Tengo toda mi vida, diecinueve años, viviendo en el sur de California. Nací en Los Angeles y hace once años que mi familia y yo nos mudamos a Pomona, CA. Pomona es una ciudad que queda casi cuarenta minutos desde el centro de Los Angeles.

    Yo aprendí el español de mis abuelos. Mis abuelos del lado de mi mamá son de México (SLP y Durango), y mis abuelos del lado de mi papá son de Jalisco, México. Así que mi familia me crió hablando español, pero también inglés. Cuanto más tiempo pasó, se me empezó a olvidar el Español. Pero no tengo ganas de permitir que se me olvide. Quiero mantener el idioma y mejorar mi habilidad de hablarlo.

    Con este perfil quiero tener la oportunidad de conocer a personas de otros países y poder practicar el Español. Además, si ustedes quieren practicar el inglés, yo estoy aquí para ayudarles lo más que yo pueda.

    Un poco más sobre mí: tengo un hermano, tres gallinas, y muchos perros y deseo tener una granja algún día. Me encanta estar afuera en la naturaleza, especialmente con familia y amigos, pero he descubrido que lo más mejor es invitar a Dios que camine contigo en esta vida asombrosa pero también súper abrumadora. La vida nunca será perfecta según nuestra definición de lo que es perfecto, pero te aseguro que toda será posible con Dios y que Él te enseñará una vida que nunca hubieras imaginado que existe.

  • In zehn Jahren

    Goals I have within the next ten years or more:
    -Find new ways to recycle plastic or learn how to break it down so it doesn't stay in our environment
    -Open up a restaurant/hang-out place in my city where students and children from within (or from outside) my city can come and have a safe place to spend their time, eat homework, eat delicious, healthy, and affordable food, and have fun. Kind of like a community center/restaurant!
    -Draw and paint more
    -Write a book
    -Speak Spanish super well (Me gustaria hablar el Español mejor)
    -Learn Japanese, Mandarin, Sign Language, and many more!!
    -Transform my community
    -Be well past my fears and stepping out of my comfort zone on a daily basis

  • Etwas ungewöhnliches über mich

    -I have five dogs (if you want to to talk about your pets with me I would love that haha) and I also have 2 chickens
    -I like to ride my scooter
    -I love making crafts and painting/drawing
    -I like beach clean-ups
    -Guayabas are my favorite fruit
    -I will try any food before saying I don't like it
